KIA launches a fiercely assault to Burmese army troops LIR-601with mining bomb.

It is known more than 10 Burmese soldiers died and many injured while attacked by the KIA Independence Army from battalion (24) under KIA brigade (5) unit to the Burmese troops LIR-601with mining bomb while taking ahead advancing from Bum Sawn to Daw Hpum Yang on 12th July, 2012 at 4:30pm Myanmar time.

6 Burmese military trucks detonated by KIA troops

According to the eye witness stated, those 6 Burmese military trucks were detonated by KIA frontline troops from KIA battalion 9 on 11th July, 2012 at 4:30pm country time. The convoy was blasted on the way advancing through Kutkai the region under KIA 4th brigade control area, the confronted Burmese troops were not known exactly from which infantry they belongs.

A battle faught between KIA battalion (24) and Burmese army LIB (601)

On July 10, 2012 at 12:30pm a battle took place between KIA battalion (24) and Burmese army LIB (601) under KIA (5) brigade control area, in the place between Ming Mun and Ting Lung, killed (4) Burmese soldiers and many injured.

On July 5, 2012 at 7:00am an arm clash engaged in the area between (7) and (8) boundary line demarcation post under KIA (1) brigade control area. The battle involving Zahkung Ting Ying’s recently converted BGF force and Local Arm Groups (Pyi Tu Tsit) under Naypyitaw Government with combined forces from KIA’s (10) battalion.

KIA assaulted to the Burmese troops LIR-(123) and the place including Pangsai Police Station

On July 6, 2012, KIA from (38) battalion under KIA brigade (4) attack the Burmese troops LIR-(123)  and Burmese Police Station of Pang Sai  at 7:00am. According to the frontline sources 7 Burmese soldiers were killed and many other injured during the assault and many run away across China Border.

 

 

Mass peaceful demonstration in Myitkyina

A peaceful protest organized on the issue of uncertain detention and arbitrary arrest of a farmer Brang Shawng from Jan Mai Kawng IDPs camp, at Myitkyina. He was said to be arrested and tortured by the Burmese authorities on the suspicious of involvement with KIA rebels with no concrete ground of testimony.
